Biography
I am a marine conservation biologist, public speaker, and co-founder of Blue Latitudes LLC, a federally certified, women-owned small business and marine environmental consulting firm. As co-founder, I develop sustainable, creative, and cost-effective solutions for the environmental issues that surround the offshore energy industry. I'm committed to elevating the scientific understanding of our oceans at the intersection of energy and the environment and have worked on decommissioning projects around the world. Blue Latitudes has been named one of "Best Small Businesses in America" by Entrepreneur Magazine and in 2018 I was highlighted by Forbes Magazine as "30 Under 30 in the Energy Sector".
As a marine conservation biologist and offshore energy consultant, I specialize in ecological value and environmental impact assessments, remotely operated vehicle (ROV) survey work, and designing sustainable environmental strategies for offshore energy development and decommissioning. I have over ten years of experience preparing and conducting environmental impact assessments for both terrestrial and marine offshore resources throughout the United States and internationally for projects in Thailand, Malaysia and Mauritania.
I am also a Co-President of the Blue Latitudes Foundation (BLF), the 501(c)3 non-profit organization, dedicated to seeking out opportunities for conservation at the intersection of industry and the environment.
